Tongue-tie Symptom Checker:
A restrictive tongue-tie really can not be diagnosed by a picture alone. The question really is to find out if tongue strength and ability is affected.
Whilst this 'symptom-checker' can not tell you if your infant has a tongue-tie restriction, its handy signs and symptoms check list can help indicate if an infant feeding assessment is indicated, even if it is for something other than an oral restriction.
The symptoms below can of course be attributed to other causes, such as a positional issue, bodily tensions, infant oral thrush, teething, the list is endless.
An assessment with an experienced infant feeding specialist will be able to rule in (or out!) other causes.
